The word radical actually means from the
roots.
What we need today are people who have spiritual
roots.
Characteristics of having spiritual
roots:
I. Radical gratitude.
II. Radical faith.
What does it mean to have radical
faith? Many facets:
A. Faith is
believing when I don't see it.
1. Faith is
visualizing the future in the present.
B. Faith is
obeying when I don't understand it.
1. Obedience
always involves taking risks.
2. Sometimes
God asks us to do the impossible just to stretch our
faith.
3. In the
N.T. there are 1050 commands where God says I want you to do this
and I don't want you to do this.
4. Whenever God
asks you to do something, it's a test of your faith.
5. If you
learn to do whatever God tells you to do even it seems absurd, you will
grow a great faith and you will build a great life.
6. God wants
to bless you far more than you realize, but you've got to get
blessable.
C. Persisting
when I don't feel like it.
1. You get
there by seeing the invisible.
D. Announcing
it in order to experience it.
1. Sometimes
you've got to state it in order to feel it.
2. The Bible
says that words and faith are together.
