James 2:1-13
 
I.  The Principle:  Don't accept people just on superficial judgements.  (1)
 
Common areas of discrimination:
      Appearance.
      Ancestry.
      Age.
      Achievement.
      Affluence.
 
II.  The problems:
     1.  Favoritism is unchristian.  (1)
     2.  Favoritism is unreasonable.  (5-7)
     3.  Favoritism is unloving. (9-12)
 
III.  The prescription:  How to treat people right.
     1.  Accept everybody.
     2.  Appreciate everybody.
     3.  Affirm everybody.
