How Satan Gets Us to Fail!

James 1:13-14
 
I.  The process:
 
     A.  Stage One:  Desire.
          1.  The process of temptation often means trying to get us to meet a good need in a bad way.
 
     B.  Stage two:  Deception.
          1.  Satan covers sin with enticing bait.
 
     C.  Stage three:  Disobedience.
           1.  When your will is combined with God's will, He gives you the power to do what your will is telling you you ought to do.
 
      D.  Stage four:  Death.
           1.  Sin brings spiritual death.
 
II.  The purpose of Satan's strategy.
  
     A.  Prevent salvation.
 
     B.  Make believers ineffective.
 
     C.  Frustrate God's will.
 
III.  Satans decoys.
