     How To Discover God's Will
                   Romans 12:1-2
 
I.  Four great "therefores" in Romans:
     A.  The therefore of sin.
     B.  The therefore of salvation.
     C.  The therefore of security.
     D.  The therefore of service.
The true tests of my beliefs is my behavior.
 
II.  How to discover God's will for my life:
 
     A.  The principle of dedication.
           What is the reason for dedication?  Because of what God has done for me.
           1.  Three characteristics of Christian dedication:
                a.  It's voluntary.
                b.  It's practical.
                c.  It's complete.
     
     B.  The principle of insulation.
           1.  It's not isolation.
           2.  It's not imitation.
 
     D.  The principle of transformation.
          1.  The word reflect means to contemplate or to look at.
          2.  The key to changing your life is to change the way you think.
          3.  The better way is to simply change the automatic pilot.
          4.  God's will is found in God's Word.
          5.  God's will never contradicts God's Word.
 
III.  Why should I discover God's will for my life:  Three things:
     A.  It's  good.
     B.  It's pleasing or acceptable.
     C.  It's perfect.
