    Grace:  The Truth That Transforms
                     Romans
 
Whenever you begin a study of an entire book of the Bible, you should ask five questions:
 
I.  Who wrote it?
          Paul
      A.  Who is Paul?
          1.  Religiously, or by race and religion, he was a Hebrew.
          2.  By culture, he was Greek.
          3.  Politically, he was a Roman citizen.
II.  To whom was it written?
         To all who were in Rome, who are loved by God and called to be saints.
 
III.  When did he write it?
          When he got to Rome, Romans was his fifth letter even thought it comes as first in your Bible.
 
IV.  Why did Paul write this letter?
     A.  There was a personal reason.
     B.  There was an educational reason.
     C.  There was a financial reason.
 
V.  What\'s the message?
      The Gospel.
 
Key words in Romans:
     1.  Righteousness.
     2.  God.
     3.  Law.
     4.  Christ.
     5.  Sin.
     6.  Faith.
     7.  Salvation.
     8.  Sanctification.
     9. Service.
